I am a 40 yr. old “Disabled American Citizen”, who was “illegally” held for ALMOST the minimum 72 hour hold, had my “Competency Rights” STOLEN FROM ME (which is nothing more than legal BS, that REALLY MEANS, you must have a Guardian/At-Litem/Advocate) sign for all your health related papers!!! This INCLUDES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE TREATMENT, or to SIGN YOUR OWN-SELF OUT OF THESE “Lock-Down State ‘Institutions’”. I am trying to find others like me, I know you’re out there, because you were ‘in there’ with me! In Florida, where I live, the law ‘They’ use is called “The Florida Mental Health Act” or short-titled “The Baker Act”! As far as I know, every State in the land, has similar laws, which are actually meant, on paper, as laws to “PROTECT” the mentally ill, from harming themselves, or others. RARELY IS THIS THE CASE! These ‘Hospitalists’, or DRS who primarily work ONLY in Hospitals, use these laws on those of us that have a “GUARANTEED” way to keep Medicare&Medicaid dollars, in the “System”, when they have NO CLUE, of your health history, how you NORMALLY ACT, and most importantly, HOW TO LISTEN TO THE PATIENT!!! If you are primarily “Physically Disabled”, with usually, a high amount of pain MEDS, you need JUST TO FUNCTION, I’m looking for YOU!!! I am planning a Docu-Drama on this highly abusive practice, that is RAMPANT! I also want to Empower you with the knowledge given to me, by the Grace of God, during my last BIRTHDAY spent in one of these “Institutions of Abuse”. After Empowering you, I want to rally all of us together to “ADVOCATE”, for those who may not understand the Rules And Regs of Hospital life, & OUR RESPONSIBILITIES TO TEACH OTHERS TO HELP THEMSELVES!!! Please feel free to comment, more important, inform me via e-mail, if you have experienced similar atrocities, by these Haldol-Happy “The Rapists”! I’m also, of course, in need of volunteers for the Docu-Drama, ie: actors, actresses, video techs, and original music! I will be doing most of the “behind-the-scenes” work, but welcome ANY submissions, ideas, you name it! Last, but FAR from least…. THESE LAWS HAVE TO BE CHANGED!!! Only then, will these “Experiment in Social in-Justices” END! This will take ALL OF US BANDING TOGETHER FOR OUR RIGHT TO PURSUE HAPPINESS AND PROSPERITY, WITHOUT PSYCH-0 Dr’s TELLING US WHAT WE CAN DO, TAKE, AND SIGN FOR OURSELVES!!!!
